How to Upgrade an ILOG Academic License
1. Download, read and sign the ILOG Academic License Agreement
2. Download the ILOG Academic Upgrade Form for your area
3. Complete the Upgrade Order Form
- Clearly state the existing license information, including platform, operating system, host name and license number (this information can be found on the Access Key Request Sheet that came with your product delivery)
- Specify the product you wish to upgrade
- Provide a complete billing address
- Provide a complete shipping address (note we can not ship to post-office boxes)
- Sign the Academic Certification section
4. Attach any required documents
- US and Canada orders: Academic Tax-Exempt Status document
- Bank wire transfer payments: Copy of the bank wire document
- Purchase order payments: Copy of the authorized university PO with Net 30 terms and all details matching the ILOG Academic Order Form
5. Include any shipping, tax and bank fees
- Applicable sales tax and shipping charges (FOB) will apply
- For customers in US and Canada, if your institution is tax-exempt, you must provide a copy of the academic tax-exempt status document to avoid sales tax
- Shipments from the Singapore office will be charge $50 for shipping fees
- Shipments within Singapore are subject to a 4% GST tax
- Payments made with a bank wire transfer will be charged $15 for bank wire fees
6. Fax, mail or e-mail all documents to the location specified on the order form
