State-of-the-Art Controls for GUIs
ILOG Views Controls provides a complete set of dialog objects for designing outstanding GUIs. It includes basic controls such as buttons, menus, text fields and complex objects like trees, toolbars and spreadsheets. All controls support Windows, Windows XP and Motif look-and-feel.
ILOG Views Controls includes a customizable and extensible visual GUI builder that generates C++ code. Generated code can be compiled on any platform (Windows, Unix or Linux).

ILOG Views Controls provides many controls for creating GUIs:

User-interface builder
ILOG Views Controls includes ILOG Studio, a powerful, intuitive editor. It allows easy creation of user interfaces using simple drag-and-drop operations with advanced features like attachment, alignment and focus-chain management and testing capabilities.
ILOG Studio also includes ILOG Script, a JavaScript-compliant scripting language that accommodates behavior definition.
Full localization
ILOG Views Controls supports full localization. Thanks to a multilingual message database, messages can be converted into any target language. ILOG Views Controls can assign images to each language in an application. The ILOG Views Bidi extension handles right-to-left languages like Hebrew or Arabic.

Application Framework
ILOG Views Controls includes Application Framework. Its API implements Model View Controller architecture, providing full independence between GUI and data, maintaining consistency between several views of the same data model.

The Application Framework wizard simplifies creation of advanced GUIs with multidocument interfaces and dockable windows, automatically generating C++ code and project files.
2D graphic integration
ILOG Views Controls provides specific controls for easily integrating of 2D Graphics into interfaces designed with ILOG Studio. Combining ILOG Views Controls with ILOG Views 2D Graphics makes development faster and easier.
Visual data connection
ILOG Views Data Access is an add-on product that extends ILOG Views Controls by visually connecting GUIs to databases, XML streams or any other type of data source. Graphic objects can be set to automatically update themselves when data changes, and vice versa. ILOG Views Data Access supports IBM's DB2, Oracle, Informix, Sybase, Ingres and MS SQL Server through native drivers and Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC).
